Nutra-Lift Maximum C Plus Serum is a skin cream that tightens, nourishes, brightens and moisturizes. For those dealing with fine lines and wrinkles, this can help to reduce them. I was sent a sample to review and so I have been using it for about two weeks now.
The second was how far just a small bit of the serum goes. The serum comes in a one ounce bottle, which at first I thought was pretty small. I can see now, however that it will last a long time, even with daily use. One pump of the bottle gives enough serum for my entire face and neck because the serum is a very thin liquid.
Upon applying the serum, I felt a slight tightening and tingling sensation within about five minutes so I could tell it was doing something. I have some small scarring on my chin from blemishes, so I was really hoping that this serum would help reduce them. After using it for the past couple of weeks, I have noticed a lightening of the scars (which weren't very dark to begin with) and I am hoping that with continued use, they will disappear completely.
At $36 per bottle, I think it is a small price to pay for not having to use constantly use makeup to cover up those dark spots.
*I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Every January 1st, a countdown begins. Every year, it's the same thing, 105 days until taxes are due. For most of us, this is not a fun time. Even if you are looking forward to getting some money back, it's never as much as you want and there is a bunch of perplexing paperwork to get through first. As parents, we are entitled to some pretty great tax breaks. Here are six of the best:
Weaning. During the early days of nursing, when it hurts and your baby is wiggling and even biting down (ouch!), weaning sounds like a lovely distant thing.
In my house, we are currently in one of those phases where my older children (Alex, 8 and Shari, 5) are constantly fighting. Sometimes it is over something legitimate, like a sibling who took something that doesn't belong to them, but it's usually over something completely inane, like when my daughter got angry at her brother for "Looking out her window in the car."
With the weather being what it has been lately, we have all been spending a lot of time indoors. After staring at the same things day in and day out, I decided it would be fun to add some color here and there. Not wanting to leave the house (brrrr!!!), I looked for what I could do with what I had around already.
I have so enjoyed all of your comments and support as "More Than Mommy". Now, as the blog has grown and changed, I feel that a more appropriate name would be, "Mostly Together Mommy".
