Citrus Lane Monthly Subscription Box Review

By now, I’m sure you have all heard of Citrus Lane. If you haven’t then you are definitely missing out! Citrus Lane is a monthly box subscription service that sends out a box filled with products designed to delight your children. They even tailor each box to your child’s age and gender.

Citrus Lane sent me a box to review, and my daughter Shari was so excited to open a package that was sent especially to her! That is one of the features that Citrus Lane provides – they will address the package to your little one, which makes it even more special for them to get in the mail.
First, I need to tell you about the box itself. It was made of sturdy stuff! This is not the kind of box you would have to worry about getting damaged in the mail. Upon opening the box, you see that some tissue paper is carefully wrapped around the contents, making it even more fun for a child who is opening their box. Like my daughter said, “I love getting presents!”

Now, for the contents, I was pretty happy with the selection. We had 2 puzzles, one with 12 pieces, and one with 24. We also a coloring book with markers, Olivia band aids, Clean Well All-Natural Hand Sanitizing Wipes, and a snack size bag of Annie’s Cheddar Bunnies. My daughter was most excited about the puzzles and I like that they were made with a very thick cardboard. She has already taken these apart and put them together several times and they are still in excellent condition.

While I could definitely see that band aids and hand wipes are great to have on hand for a kid, they weren’t exactly things that my daughter could play with. She did like the band aides, though, as she is an Olivia fan! I also liked that they came in a metal container, which makes it really easy to throwin a purse or backpack.

I was happy to see the hand wipes, as they were very useful in cleaning up after playing with markers! They seemed to work as well as any wipe, but they had a smell that I found unpleasant. The wipes were the only item that I wasn’t thrilled with. I thought that everything was of a very high quality.

In all, this was a great collection of items. There was everything needed for a couple hours of afternoon play. Both the puzzles and the coloring book were great activities for her. The band aids would have come in handy if she had gotten a paper cut, the snack was delicious and the wipes cleaned everything up!

You can get a Citrus Lane box too!  You can connect with them on Facebook or Twitter, and you can sign up for a subscription HERE. Boxes start for as little as $21 a month and are personalized to your child birth to 5 years old. Shipping is always free, no matter what plan you choose! I would definitely recommend this box to anyone with a busy little one.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
